Description: Flat tappet camshaft follower for high pressure Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) fuel pumps found in Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo vehicle applications. Primarily found in the Ford 1.6L and 2.0L 4 cylinder engines. Be sure to verify this is the correct part for your engine.

Note - this flat tappet has been found to be a common wear item on vehicles, especially those operating at high rpm and/or higher fuel flow/fuel pressure or those with extended oil change intervals. It is highly recommended that you inspect this tappet for signs of wear on higher mileage vehicles. When this tappet fails it can cause more significant damage including fuel pump and camshaft failure.
